Travelling through the Wine Route, The Garden Route, the Wild Coast, to Durban, to Drakensberg Mountains, to Hluhluwe Imfolozi, to Isimangaliso Wetlands Park, to Kruger National Park and finally to Johannesburg. Here's a suggested brief itinerary:
Day 1: Cape Town to Oudtshoorn – Travel on the world’s longest Wine Route R62 in the Little Karoo. Overnight in Oudtshoorn.
Day 2: Oudtshoorn to Knysna – Stop and tour Wilderness. Visit Knysna Heads for stunning views of the coastline. Overnight in Knysna at aha the Rex Hotel or similar.
Day 3: Knysna & Plettenberg Bay – Visit Robberg Nature Reserve for hiking and beach in Plettenberg Bay and an animal park. Overnight in Knysna at aha the Rex Hotel or similar.

Day 6: East London to Mthatha. Travel in the Wild Coast stopping in Qunu, Mandela’s birthplace. Overnight in Mthatha.
Day 7: Mthatha to Durban. Travel to Durban, stop for a tour of Margate. Overnight in Durban at Bluewaters Hotel or similar.
Day 8: Durban City Tour. Visit Victoria Market, Durban Botanic Gardens and City Hall.
Day 9: Durban to Drakensberg Mountains. Visit Howick Falls and Mandela Capture Site. Arrive in Drakensberg and go for hiking. Overnight at Gooderson Monks Cowl Golf Resort or similar.
Day 10: Drakensberg Mountains to Durban. Stop in Phezulu Safari for African traditional dance performance. Overnight in Bluewaters Hotel or similar.
Day 11: Durban to Hluhluwe Imfolozi Game Reserve & Isimangaliso Wetlands Park. Go for a game drive in Hluhluwe Imfolozi. Overnight in Isimangaliso at Elephant Lake Hotel or similar.
Day 12: Isimangaliso Wetlands Park. Explore Isimangaliso. Go for Hippo & Croc Boat Cruise. Overnight in Isimangaliso at Elephant Lake Hotel or similar.
Day 13: Isimangaliso Wetlands Park to Kruger National Park. Travel to Kruger National Park. Overnight Kruger Adventure Lodge or similar.
Day 14: Kruger National Park. Game drive in Kruger National Park. Overnight Kruger Adventure Lodge or similar.
Day 15: Kruger National Park to Johannesburg. Travel back to Johannesburg arriving late afternoon to end the 15 day tour.
