Johannesburg: 2-Day 4-Star Pilanesberg Safari

The Pilanesberg Park has evolved to become one of the most fascinating landscapes to visit in South Africa. The majority of South Africa’s wildlife is now found in the Pilanesberg Game Reserve, a total of 7,000 animals including the "Big 5".
This national park covers an area of 55,000 hectares. More than 7,000 animals live here in a free and unhindered environment, and Pilanesberg is home to all of the "Big 5" (elephants, rhinos, leopards, buffalo, and lions). Other animals that you may encounter are zebra, giraffe, cheetahs, hyenas, hippos, crocodiles, jackals, wild cats, various antelope, and over 300 bird species. Pilanesberg offers over 200 kilometers of roads for guided or self-drive game viewing.

Day 1:

After being picked up in Johannesburg, you will depart to Pilanesberg. You will enter the park for a morning game drive in a closed, air-conditioned vehicle, before arriving to the lodge at around midday. You will then eat lunch, before enjoying an open 4x4 vehicle safari drive in the afternoon. You will then return for dinner, which will be prepared by the chef at Pilanesberg Private Lodge or Black Rhino Lodge (depending on availability when booking the tour).

Day 2:

You will enjoy an early-morning game drive in an open vehicle, before returning to the lodge for a nutritious breakfast. You will later depart to the Sun City Resort for some leisure time and Lunch. In the late afternoon, you will depart for Johannesburg, where you will be dropped off at a location of your choosing.

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
