Step into a cozy modern hanok(a traditional Korean-style house) in the heart of Seoul and experience one of Korea’s most beloved food traditions making Songpyeon, colorful rice cakes that were once enjoyed during harvest season but are now loved all year round.

I grew up watching my mother make rice cakes in her shop, and now I’d love to share that warmth and tradition with you. In this small, hands-on class, you’ll learn how to knead, shape, and fill your own Songpyeon using healthy, organic ingredients. We’ll use natural colors and fillings such as mung beans, roasted sesame, chestnuts, and red beans and you can create your own combinations for a truly personal touch.

All ingredients are organic, and I minimize the use of sugar. using raw cane sugar only when needed. No cooking experience is required. Just bring your curiosity and an open heart!

While the rice cakes are steaming, we’ll enjoy a few with tea, and you can take home your handmade Songpyeon.

To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
