Climb Inwangsan for sweeping Seoul views, then unwind with makgeolli and classic local dishes in Seochon.
Begin your adventure by meeting your guide at Gyeongbokgung Station (Outside Exit 1). Before hiking, we’ll take a gentle warm-up stroll through Sajikdan (Royal Altar) and the Dangun Shrine. These historic sites offer a peaceful introduction to Korean mythology and are the perfect way to loosen up your legs before we hit the trail.
Head to the base of Inwangsan Mountain and start your hike. Follow a route that’s active but designed to be manageable and enjoyable, with plenty of time for photos and breaks.
*Hiking route*
Hwanghakjeong (Korean archery area & exhibition) → Tiger Statue → Beom-bawi (Tiger Rock) → Inwangsan Peak
On the way to the top, pass the Tiger Statue and the dramatic Beom-bawi.
Reach the top of Inwangsan and soak in sweeping panoramic views of Seoul before descending.
(Hiking time: ~1hour 30minutes including breaks)
After the hike, head to Seochon (Sejong Village Food Street Area) one of Seoul's most charming local neighborhoods! and unwind with traditional Korean liquor and local comfort food just like Seoul locals do.
Discover authentic Korean drinking culture! Enjoy a authentic Korean dishes and makgeolli tasting(Korea’s traditional sparkling rice wine) paired with Korean pork wraps (bossam), pork bone soup(gamjatang), seafood pancake(haemul pajeon), and Korean potato pancake(gamjajeon). This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
