Mojácar/Vera: Tour to Playa de los Muertos and Carboneras

Begin your journey with a pickup from your accommodation and head towards the iconic Playa de los Muertos. Make a stop at a viewpoint that offers spectacular views and incredible photo opportunities.

Continue on your way to Playa de los Muertos, where, for a couple of hours, you will enjoy one of the most beautiful beaches in the Province of Almería, indeed in the whole of Spain. Reach the beach by descending a path of about 500m (a walk of about 10-15 minutes).

After enjoying your time at this famous beach, head up to the top of the fossilized coral reef of la Mesa de Roldán, where you will see an old defensive tower and a lighthouse dating back to 1863. From here, enjoy amazing panoramic views over the Mediterranean and all the way down the coast of Cabo de Gata, conditions permitting.

Then, head for Carboneras, where you will get a little taste of this old fishing village and where you will stop for a delicious Spanish lunch in a seafront terrace restaurant.

After lunch, head back to your accommodation, but not before making one more enjoyable, surprise stop along the way.
