Description

Join this interactive tour led by a shepherd to learn about the Basque cheese-making process. Enjoy a delicious cheese tasting paired with local cider or wine, and pay a visit to San Sebastian.
Prepare to be immersed in the rolling mountains of Basque Country for an unforgettable cheese experience at a family-owned Idiazabal cheese farm.

As you will see, this experience is fun, dynamic, and interactive, and you will be a part of the entire cheese-making process led by the shepherd.

The cheese farm tour concludes with a delicious cheese tasting paired with some local cider/wine in a lovely txoko (the Basque common lounge).

The Basque Country is the only region permitted to manufacture Idiazabal Cheese (The Spanish parmesan). This D.O. is derived from sheep grazing in the green valleys of the Basque Country. Oveja Latxa is the name of the breed.

Following the cheese tasting, we will move to San Sebastian for a walking tour of the city to learn about its history and magic.

San Sebastian has been visited by everyone throughout history, from kings and queens to spies and artists. You will hear  stories about these characters and discover hidden secret spots only locals know about.

You will also have the opportunity to take the best photographs as we take you to the top of Monte Igueldo (one of Europe's oldest theme parks) and to the Comb Of The Wind sculpture designed by the number one Basque Sculptor Eduardo Chillida.

*Please be aware that in the cheese tour we could be mixed other people to a maximum of 12 people per experience
