Country: Spain
Duration:
08:30 hours
Description
A Moorish mountain village, the Atlantic coast, and a Roman city – three eras in one day, in a small group with a personal guide and your own transport service.
Discover the Costa de la Luz in one day that connects three eras. We start in the white mountain village of Vejer de la Frontera and stroll through its maze of Moorish alleys, along the city wall, and to vantage points overlooking the vast hinterland.
Continue to Cape Trafalgar near Caños de Meca: lighthouse, Atlantic beach, and the site of the famous naval battle of 1805. After a relaxing lunch break by the sea, we arrive in Bolonia. Here, Baelo Claudia awaits, one of the best-preserved Roman towns in Spain, with a forum, a theater, and the ancient factories where the famous fish sauce garum was once produced. At the end, you will see the approximately 30-meter-high shifting dune of Bolonia.
As a native of Madrid with Andalusian roots and a Swiss background, I will show you these places like a friend who knows which doors to open – with stories, legends, and a look behind the scenes. 5 guests maximum, personal guide, private transportation.
