Start with a convenient pickup service in the districts, Bocagrande, Castillogrande, El Laguito or board the vibrantly colored Chiva bus at a centrally located meeting point. Start early with a morning tour or sleep in with an afternoon tour.
Experience the modern and tourist area of Bocagrande, Laguito and Castillo Grande. See one of the most beautiful natural bays and a lush linear park. We will pass by the iconic India Catalina, a statue representing an important indigenous woman and take photos at the Zapatos Viejos (a large shoe statue).
Arrive at Castillo de San Felipe which you will panoramic and simply take some photographs of its magnificent Spanish colonial features. Head to the walled city where the walking tour begins.
Follow your guide through the historic center and visit Las Bobedas (armoury) and see the Clock Tower. Return to your pickup point with unforgettable memories of this colorful city.

This activity is done rain or shine.
- You must keep in mind that you are scheduled one hour before the start of the activity (08:00 AM) but you can be picked up at the established point at any time during that time (08:00 - 09:20 AM) or even up to 20 minutes after the set start time (09:20 a.m.).
- In the afternoon hours the start of the activity (01:00 p.m.) but you can be picked up at the established point at any time during that time (01:00 - 02:20 PM) or even up to 20 minutes after the time established start time (14:20). Please note that there are many stops in the pick-up process and not all passengers cooperate punctually.
Please note that transportation is in a typical OLD Colombian bus called "CHIVA"
The tour is collective, therefore the positions are not fixed, they depend on the guide or the normal boarding process.
Wear comfortable shoes and keep in mind that the castle has dark tunnels and some with water. (always be with the guide)
When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
