Description
Embark on a Granada food tour and savor paella de marisco, salmorejo, Granadino tapas, local cheeses, piononos, and oriental sweets, while discovering the city’s rich culinary traditions
Join a walking food tour through the heart of Granada and uncover the city’s most delicious dishes. In a group of up to 12, your local experts will share fascinating stories and anecdotes about Granada’s culinary traditions and daily life insights that only true locals can provide.
Make at least four stops to savor a variety of delightful recipes, including paella de marisco, a flavorful seafood rice dish cooked with fresh shrimp, mussels, and fish, infused with saffron and aromatic spices. Its rich, savory taste makes it perfect for sharing.
Taste salmorejo, a creamy cold tomato soup from Andalusia, often garnished with hard-boiled eggs, jamón ibérico, and a drizzle of olive oil. This refreshing dish highlights the region’s fresh ingredients and Mediterranean flavors.
Sample classic Granadino tapas, a variety of small bites that may include local cheeses, marinated vegetables, or cured meats, offering a delicious introduction to the city’s culinary culture.
Enjoy local cheeses, ranging from soft, mild varieties to stronger, aged flavors, often paired with fresh bread or quince paste an essential part of any Andalusian tapas experience.
Treat yourself to sweets like piononos de Santa Fe, a spongy, syrup-soaked pastry with a hint of cinnamon, and oriental sweets from Calle Calderería Nueva, inspired by Granada’s rich Moorish heritage. These desserts perfectly balance flavors and textures for a memorable finish.
