Description
Experience the Haro Wine Fight Festival with a camping package. Enjoy a daily brunch, an open bar, and a vibrant party atmosphere at the campsite.
Immerse yourself in the Haro Wine Fight, known locally as La Batalla de Vino de Haro, a centuries-old tradition that transforms the rolling hills of Northern Spain into a sea of purple every June. This isn’t just a festival; it’s a bucket-list phenomenon where thousands of travelers and locals converge to douse each other in thousands of liters of red wine.
Stay at a campsite strategically located at the base of the hills, surrounded by the world-famous vineyards of La Rioja Alta. It’s the perfect place to prepare for battle and recover afterward. The campsite features an onsite pool—essential for washing off the purple stains—and a vibrant party atmosphere where you’ll meet hundreds of like-minded international travelers.
Enjoy pre-pitched twin tents, high-quality sleeping mats, and sleeping bags, so you can arrive empty-handed and leave with a lifetime of memories. Between 10 am and 10 pm, the open bar serves unlimited beer, wine, and sangria, ensuring the party never stops even after the wine “ammunition” runs out.
Beyond the battle, Haro is the undisputed wine capital of Spain. The town is home to the famous Barrio de la Estación (The Station District), which boasts the highest concentration of century-old wineries in the world. During your stay, you’ll have the chance to visit iconic bodegas like Muga, CVNE, and Ramón de Bilbao. Whether you’re exploring the underground cellars or enjoying a sophisticated tasting in a local bar, the allure of Haro’s world-class red wine production is the perfect sophisticated balance to the morning’s wine-soaked madness.
