Explore the breathtaking landscapes of La Gomera, the greenest of the Canary Islands, with a professional guide aboard a comfortable air-conditioned bus. The tour includes stops at the island's best viewpoints and sightseeing in Garajonay National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to one of the oldest forests in the world. Refuel with a tasty lunch accompanied by a live demonstration of the Silbo Gomero, a unique traditional whistled language used by the island's inhabitants.
La Gomera, one of the geologically youngest of the western Canary Islands, is an enchanted place where time seems to have stood still. The island's landscape is an intricate labyrinth of valleys, ravines and canyons studded with basalt rock formations of all shapes and sizes.

Once in the forest, take a deep breath. Feel the fresh, oxygenated, pure air as it nourishes your body and mind; the therapeutic effect is almost instantaneous. The laurel forest is an ancient mystical forest capable of inspiring a feeling of deep connection with nature and the world that once was.

The tour starts with pick-up from your hotel in Tenerife and transfer to the port of Los Cristianos on the day selected during the online booking process. You will then board the ferry with the other participants for a quick 50-minute trip to La Gomera.

Once in La Gomera, you will explore the most spectacular sites and viewpoints while listening to the guide's detailed explanation. La Gomera offers a breathtaking setting of peaks and ravines reminiscent of a scene from the Jurassic Park films, forged over the centuries by volcanic activity.

The tour continues to the heart of the laurel forest, or cloud forest, a stunning and pristine example of an ancient ecosystem found in only a handful of other places in the world. The laurel forest features beautiful evergreen and hardwood trees up to 30 metres tall, mosses, ferns and intricate canopies that allow little light to filter through. The area belongs to the Garajonay National Park and has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1986.

During the included lunch stop, you will have the opportunity to attend a demonstration of the whistled language Silbo Gomero. The Silbo is a peculiar way of communicating, exclusive to La Gomera, considered by UNESCO as a Masterpiece of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity.
