From Jakarta: 2-Day Bogor: Java Gibbon and Sunrise Tour

This tour takes place in West Java Province and visits the Cikaniki Conservation Area, located at a high elevation within Mount Halimun National Park.
Day 1
We will gather at Gondangdia Station at 07:00 and take the train to Bogor, arriving in about an hour. Afterward, we will use the private vehicle provided for the six-hour drive to our accommodation in Citalahab. En route, we will stop at a tea plantation to interact with the highly skilled tea pickers. Next, we will proceed with an agricultural or village tour, where you can observe various plants that thrive at high altitudes. After spending about an hour there, we will continue to our accommodation in Citalahab. Upon arrival, we will have lunch before trekking through the forest to observe the wildlife and flora of the national park. In the late afternoon, we will return to the accommodation for a prepared dinner.

Day Two
We wake up at 4:30 AM and head to the summit to watch the sunrise from the heights of the mountain. The panoramic view of the peak, bathed in the colors of the rising sun, is truly magnificent. After the sunrise, we descend back to our accommodation for breakfast and to prepare for an excursion to observe the Javan Gibbon in its natural habitat. As we trek through the forest, we are treated to a glimpse of wildlife amidst the cool mountain air. Along the way, we can spot various birds and insects inhabiting the forest. The main highlight is the Javan Gibbon, though Javan Langurs can also occasionally be seen. We can also visit a waterfall and take a dip there. By midday, we return to our accommodation for lunch, after which we prepare for the journey back to Jakarta.

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
