Description

Our journey starts with a visit to the "Archipenque" viewing point, from which a beautiful panorama of the port and Los Gigantes cliffs stretches. Then we will visit an extremely charming, 16th-century Mudejar church in the small town of Santiago del Teide. After visiting Santiago, along the almond route, we will go to the green regions of El Amparo, where, surrounded by pine forests, we will taste Canarian snacks and demonstrate how the inhabitants of the islands have mastered the creation of "mojo sauces", the most popular addition in the local cuisine. After a short break, we will head towards the northern coast to visit Puerto de la Cruz, the first developing tourist region in the early 1960s with an amazing local atmosphere. Narrow streets filled with florists, a beautiful neo-gothic cathedral of St. The brand, Plaza del Charco or Lago Martianez, designed by Cesar Manrique, is part of many attractions of this extremely atmospheric town. In the middle of the day, we will go to La Orotava for lunch. Inhabitants of this region share with the world the art of making sacral carpets during the celebration of the Christmas Day of the Body. Lunch will be organized in one of the historic tenements, in a typical colonial style with a characteristic patio and typical Canarian balconies. The last point of the trip will be the city of Candelaria called Czestochowa Canary Islands, a city known for its pilgrimages, with historical statues of 9 Mencei, the last leaders of the indigenous people fighting for the freedom of Tenerife.
