Discover the authentic flavors of the dehesa by cooking with local ingredients. Learn traditional recipes and taste what you prepare in a unique natural environment.
We will begin this immersive experience with an introduction to the gastronomic landscape of Los Pedroches: you will learn about the star products of the dehesa, such as extra virgin olive oil, acorn-fed Iberian ham, artisan cheeses or seasonal vegetables.

Afterwards, you will put on your apron and, guided by local hosts, you will learn how to prepare traditional dishes of rural Andalusian cuisine. The whole process is participatory, with step-by-step explanations, anecdotes about the local culture and tips for replicating the recipes at home.

The experience takes place outdoors, in the natural environment of the Balcón de Los Pedroches, or in a covered space if the weather requires it. We will finish sharing a table and tasting the prepared dishes, accompanied by local wine, in a relaxed, close and enriching atmosphere.

An experience designed for those who wish to reconnect with the land through flavor, learn from popular wisdom and enjoy the most authentic tourism. Ideal for families, couples, groups of friends and lovers of soulful cuisine.

It is essential to communicate in advance any food allergy or restriction.

The activity requires a minimum of 6 participants (to be confirmed 24 hours in advance).

In case of rain, the experience will be moved indoors without losing authenticity.

No previous cooking experience is required, just the desire to participate and enjoy.

Activity suitable for accompanied children, as long as they are interested in participating.

The experience takes place in a rural environment, without access to direct public transportation.

The use of comfortable clothing and a respectful attitude towards the natural environment and the hosts is appreciated.

When should I book?

To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.


Cancellations

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
