Embark on a 4-day tour from Katunayake to Kandy. Visit the Dambulla Cave Temple, Sigiriya Lion Rock, Pidurangala Rock, Polonnaruwa, and the Minneriya or Kaudulla National Park.
Day 1: Katunayake to Sigiriya
Start your journey from Katunayake and head to Sigiriya. On the way, visit the Dambulla Cave Temple.
Day 2: Sigiriya
Visit the Sigiriya Lion Rock and Pidurangala Rock to see the sunset or sunrise. After Pidurangala, visit the Polonnaruwa World Heritage Site to see the many ruins including the museum, Watadageya, Gal Vihara Temple, Lotus Pond, and Parakrama Samudra Lake.
Day 3: Sigiriya to Kandy
On the way back to Sigiriya, visit the Minneriya or Kaudulla National Park to see wild elephants and some birds. Continue to Kandy and visit the Matale Herbal Garden and Hindu Temple.
