Day 1: Kandy—The Cultural Capital
Arrive in Kandy from Colombo and visit the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Explore Kandy Lake and enjoy a cultural dance performance along with many other places in Kandy. Spend the night in a hotel in Kandy.
Day 2: Kandy to Nuwara Eliya—The Little England
Visit the Royal Botanical Gardens in Peradeniya. Stop at a tea plantation and factory in Ramboda to learn about Ceylon tea production and enjoy a fresh cup of tea. Arrive in Nuwara Eliya, a picturesque town surrounded by tea estates and waterfalls. Visit Victoria Park and Gregory Lake. Stroll around the town and enjoy the cool climate. Spend the night in a hotel in Nuwara Eliya.
Day 3: Nuwara Eliya to Ella—Scenic Beauty
Visit Horton Plains National Park and hike to World’s End and Baker’s Falls. Take the hill country scenic train journey to Ella, a charming hill country village. Day 4: Ella to Departure
After breakfast, drive to Udawalawe, where you go on a safari. Later, drive to the hotel in Colombo. Transfer to Colombo or the airport for departure.
