Begin your morning with a private reef ecology briefing on the beach. By the time you step into the water, you understand exactly what you are seeing and why it matters.
In the ocean, the experience is nothing like a standard snorkeling trip. With a maximum of only four guests, there is no crowd, no rushing, and no noise. Your guide leads you quietly to the feeding zones locations discovered through years of daily reef observation. Watch the turtles move through the water at their own pace. Drift over coral gardens alive with parrotfish, pufferfish, angelfish, and a kaleidoscope of reef life. Stay as long as the turtles allow.
All snorkeling equipment is provided mask, fins, and life jacket and every guest receives a personal water safety and rescue briefing before entering the ocean. This makes the experience completely suitable for beginners and non-swimmers.
After your time in the water, return to shore for a private freshwater shower and access to dedicated changing facilities. The morning ends with a traditional Sri Lankan tea ceremony sitting quietly with your guide, watching the Indian Ocean, and talking about life on this coastline and the small daily actions that are keeping Mirissa's reef alive.

Sea turtles are wild animals. While Mirissa’s waters often have good turtle sightings, encounters cannot be guaranteed and depend on weather, sea conditions, and currents.
We follow strict responsible tourism practices: no touching, chasing, or feeding marine life. This helps protect the coral reefs and turtles for future visitors.
Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times. Life jackets are provided and recommended for younger participants and non-swimmers.
Bring swimwear, a towel, sunscreen, and a change of clothes. Underwater cameras or GoPros are welcome (or available on request).

When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
