Take part in a responsible Yala National Park jeep safari to observe wildlife in their natural habitat. Full 10-Day Itinerary

Day 1 – Airport → Negombo
Pickup at Bandaranaike International Airport (CMB). Visit Negombo Lagoon (entrance fee included) and Negombo Fish Market (free). Overnight in Negombo.

Day 2 – Negombo → Sigiriya
Optional stop at Pidurangala Rock (paid on site if visited). Visit a Sri Lankan village with traditional lunch (entrance fee included) and a woodcarving center (free). Evening visit to Sigiriya Rock (entrance fee included). Overnight in Sigiriya.

Day 3 – Sigiriya → Kandy
Visit Dambulla Cave Temple and Temple of the Tooth (entrance fees included). Free visits to spice garden, Matale Kovil, Kandy Viewpoint, and Gem Museum. Optional Kandyan dance show (paid on site). Overnight in Kandy.

Day 4 – Kandy → Nuwara Eliya
Visit Dambana Vedda Village, Eagles 360 Viewpoint, and Gregory Park (entrance fees included). Free stop at Mahiyanganaya Rajamaha Viharaya. Overnight in Nuwara Eliya.

Day 5 – Nuwara Eliya → Ella
Visit Horton Plains National Park and World’s End (entrance fee included). Scenic drive to Ella. Overnight in Ella.

Day 6 – Ella → Yala
Private 4×4 jeep sightseeing in Ella covering selected highlights such as Nine Arches Bridge, viewpoints, waterfalls, and short optional walks. Drive to Yala. Overnight near Yala.

Day 7 – Yala → Mirissa
Morning Yala National Park safari with licensed open-air jeep. Park entrance and ranger fees included. Drive to Mirissa. Overnight in Mirissa.

Modest clothing is required at temples and other religious sites.

Hill country can be cool – bring a jacket or sweater.

Comfortable shoes are recommended for walks and short hikes.

Long drives are expected on some days (e.g., Ella → Yala → Mirissa).

Wildlife sightings in Yala cannot be guaranteed. All safari activities follow ethical and responsible viewing guidelines.

During safari and all tours, guests must follow driver and ranger instructions at all times for safety and must not feed, chase, or touch animals.
Airport pickups: Your driver will meet you at the arrivals area holding a sign with your name/company name. Hotel pickups: Please wait in the lobby or main entrance 10 minutes before the scheduled pickup time. Remote villas or locations: The nearest safe meeting point will be arranged and communicated in advance. Guide identification: The driver will always carry a visible name sign and can be contacted via WhatsApp or phone for easy recognition.

Cancellations

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
