Also known as Lion Rock, Sigiriya is famous for its ancient engineering, beautifully designed water gardens, advanced irrigation systems, and the impressive lion paws guarding the entrance. Climb approximately 1,200 steps to the summit, where you can explore the ruins of the royal palace while enjoying breathtaking panoramic views.
