The ETH Library's image archive holds many valuable collections, including those of the former Glaciological Commission of the Swiss Academy of Sciences. It contains frosty photographs of glacier pioneers from the 1850s. These images aren't just spectacular—they've also been and continue to be used scientifically. Join us on an expedition into the ice and learn how photos turn into research.

When should I book?
