On a 6-day safari from Arusha to Tarangire, Serengeti, & Ngorongoro. See the "river of warthogs" at Tarangire National Park, and look for tree-climbing lions in Lake Manyara National Park.
Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
After being picked up from the airport, be transported to Outpost Hotel in Arusha. Unwind and get ready for your safari adventure.
Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, drive to Tarangire National Park. The park is named after the Tarangire River, which runs through it. This 'river of warthogs' is the region's only water source for wildlife during the dry season.
More bird species breed in Tarangire than anywhere else on the planet. The huge and ancient baobab trees can be seen here—some are said to have lived for more than a thousand years. Have lunch at a picnic site inside the park. After your game drive, transit to Crater Rim View in Karatu for dinner & overnight.
Day 3: Karatu to Serengeti National Park
Drive up into the cooler regions of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Stop and see the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater. Transit through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area to the Serengeti, entering the park's south.
The Serengeti National Park is famous for its vast open grasslands, allowing excellent wildlife sightings. Depending on the time of year you come, you will witness one of the seven wonders of the natural world when vast numbers of wildebeest, zebra, and antelope move through the area in search of water and fresh grass. Have a picnic lunch and overnight at Central Camp in Central Serengeti.
Day 4: Serengeti National Park
This entire day is set aside for game drives in the Serengeti. The Serengeti boasts an abundance of wildlife, such as impala, buffalo, crocodile, and hippo. In addition to the iconic landscapes, you have a good chance of encountering predators. Today doing early morning and late afternoon game drives is possible, a full day's game drive with a picnic lunch in the park. Dinner and overnight at Central Camp in Serengeti.
Day 5: Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Crater
Wind your way toward Ngorongoro Crater, enjoying more wonderful sights on the way. After an entire afternoon inside the crater, drive to Crater Rim View in Karatu.
The drive down into the crater is an adventure in itself, and when you reach the crater floor, you will quickly find yourself amongst large numbers of wildebeest, zebra, gazelle, and more than 500 bird species.
Day 6: Lake Manyara National Park
Drive to Lake Manyara National Park. The park is a small but diverse park 120km west of Arusha. Everything you will see here is on a different scale. It is both compact (one of the narrowest parks in Africa) and epic (the Great Rift Escarpment towers over Lake Manyara’s western boundary).
You may see baboons and elephants in the park’s thick evergreen forest and look out for the tree-climbing lions that have become famous throughout Africa.
Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park. After your game drive, be dropped off at a place you choose, e.g., Arusha, Kilimanjaro International Airport, or Arusha Airport.

When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
