Arusha: 7-Day Kilimanjaro Machame Route Guided Trek

Day 1: Machame Gate → Machame Camp

Begin your adventure with a scenic rainforest trek. Experience a Chagga welcome circle with stories and a mountain blessing.


Day 2: Machame Camp → Shira Camp

Cross moorland landscapes and enjoy a stargazing session with African constellations and myths.


Day 3: Shira Camp → Lava Tower → Barranco Camp

Acclimatize with a trek to Lava Tower. Savor an altitude dining experience with local Tanzanian comfort food. Reflect on your journey with evening personal journal reflections.


Day 4: Barranco Camp → Karanga Camp

Conquer the Barranco Wall and take a silent sunrise walk through Karanga Valley. Share your experiences in an evening group session titled “My strength of today.”


Day 5: Karanga Camp → Barafu Camp

Prepare for the summit and participate in a Memory Stone Ceremony, carrying a symbolic stone to Uhuru Peak.


Day 6: Barafu → Uhuru Peak → Mweka Camp

Embark on a midnight summit push. Enjoy a sunrise tea ritual at Stella Point. At Uhuru Peak, place your memory stone and record a 360° video diary. Celebrate with a dinner at Mweka Camp.


Day 7: Mweka Camp → Mweka Gate

Make your final descent through the rainforest. Conclude your journey with a traditional drumming and dance celebration at the gate.

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
