Begin your day early with a scenic drive to the Lemosho Gate, located on the western side of the mountain. The Lemosho Route is renowned for its remote and pristine forest trails, rich with flora and fauna. Hike through the lush rainforest zone, where you may encounter blue monkeys, colobus monkeys, and a variety of bird species.

The path gently ascends through dense forest, offering a peaceful and immersive introduction to Kilimanjaro’s diverse ecosystems. Reach the Big Tree Camp (Mti Mkubwa) area before turning back, soaking in the natural serenity.

Next, travel to the Marangu Gate, situated on the southeastern side of the mountain. Often referred to as the “Coca-Cola Route,” the Marangu trail is the only route with hut accommodations and is known for its gentle slopes and well-maintained paths.

Though you haven't reached the summit, you've walked in the footsteps of climbers from around the world and experienced three distinct sections of Kilimanjaro's grandeur.
