Description
Discover Tanzania’s beauty tours that connect you to nature, culture, and wildlife while supporting local communities and conservation efforts for a truly meaningful adventure.
Welcome to Tanzania, a land of natural wonders and cultural richness. This 2-day safari takes you through two unique and lesser-explored parks—Arusha National Park and Mkomazi National Park—for an immersive, responsible travel experience that supports local conservation and communities.
Day 1: Arusha National Park
After breakfast, your guide will pick you up from your lodge in Moshi or Arusha and drive you to Arusha National Park. This park is a gem with lush landscapes, volcanic craters, and an abundance of wildlife. During your game drive, expect to see giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, hippos, monkeys (including the rare black-and-white colobus), and even occasional elephants and flamingos.
You’ll stop for an optional walking safari with a park ranger to explore the forest trails leading to the beautiful Tulusia Waterfall. This up-close experience offers a chance to learn about the park’s plants and smaller wildlife. Afterward, head to Momella Lake, known for its flocks of flamingos and peaceful scenery. Enjoy a picnic lunch surrounded by nature before heading back to Panama Garden Resort in Moshi for dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Mkomazi National Park
After an early breakfast, depart for Mkomazi National Park, a dry savannah reserve bordering Tsavo West in Kenya. This hidden gem is home to rare and endangered species and offers breathtaking views of the Pare and Usambara mountains. During your morning game drive, you may spot giraffes, zebras, elephants, buffaloes, and, if lucky, black rhinos and wild dogs.
Stop at Elephant Motel for a warm lunch and some rest. In the afternoon, you’ll be transferred back to Moshi or Kilimanjaro International Airport, depending on your travel plans. If you're extending your stay in Tanzania, your guide will drop you off at your hotel.
This short but enriching safari is perfect for travelers seeking authentic wildlife experiences with a meaningful, low-impact approach.
