Itinerary Details
Day 01: Arrival and Preparation
Upon arriving at Kilimanjaro International Airport, our team will greet you and transfer you to your hotel in Moshi. You'll have a briefing session with your guide, receiving essential information and gear for the trek.
Day 02: Marangu Gate (1860m) to Mandara Hut (2700m)
After breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel around 8:00 AM and transferred to Marangu Gate. Following pre-hike formalities, start your Kilimanjaro climb through the dense rainforest. Enjoy the rich vegetation and, if lucky, spot some local primates. After settling in at Mandara Hut, take a stroll to Maundi Crater for stunning views.

Day 03: Mandara Hut (2700m) to Horombo Hut (3700m)
Begin your day with an early breakfast. As you leave Mandara Hut, enter the heath and moor zone. After about 4-6 hours, reach Horombo Hut (3700m) with fantastic views of Mawenzi, Kibo, and the Maasai steppe.

Day 04: Horombo Hut (3700m) to Kibo Hut (4700m)
Today’s trek is longer and tougher, leading you to Kibo Hut after passing the “Last Water Point” and the “saddle.” Enjoy an early dinner and prepare for the short night ahead.

Day 05: Kibo Hut (4700m) to Uhuru Peak (5895m) then down to Horombo Hut (3700m)
The summit stage begins around midnight. After a strenuous climb, you’ll reach Gillman’s Point (5681m) by sunrise and finally Uhuru Peak (5895m). Return to Kibo Hut for a warm meal before heading back down to Horombo Hut.

Day 06: Horombo Hut (3700m) to Marangu Gate (1860m) - Return to Moshi

Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
