Itinerary:
1. Arrival in Tanzania
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport, you will be transferred to our hotel in Moshi to freshen up after your flight. After a comprehensive briefing about the trip from your expedition leader,. We will be served dinner in the hotel, where you can get to know the other members of your group and relax on the beautiful grounds of our hotel.
2. Moshi Town to Marangu Gate - Mandara Hut:
Start the ascent from Moshi Town to the Marangu Gate, the entry point of the Marangu route. Trek through lush rainforests and reach the Mandara Hut, immersing yourself in the unique montane environment.
3. Horombo Hut:
Continue the journey through heath and moorland landscapes on day three. Arrive at the Horombo Hut, a comfortable resting place with breathtaking panoramic views. Take a day to acclimatize and enjoy optional hikes.
4. Kibo Hut - Summit:
Trek through the lunar-like landscape to reach the Kibo Hut. Begin the final ascent to Uhuru Peak, the summit of Kilimanjaro, at sunrise. Celebrate your achievement and descend to Horombo Hut.
5. Horombo Hut:
Descend to the Horombo Hut, reflecting on your successful summit. Rest and rejuvenate at the lower altitude as you prepare for the final descent.
6. Marangu Gate - Hotel in Moshi:

Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport, please follow these instructions for a smooth pickup experience:
1. Arrival Area: Proceed to the designated meeting area in the Kilimanjaro Airport arrivals section.
2. Scheduled Pickup Time: Ensure you are at the meeting point 15 minutes before your scheduled pickup time.
3. Identification: Look for our driver holding a sign with the Explore Active logo and your name.
4. Contact Information: Ensure the provided contact information is accurate. Our team will reach out in case of any changes or delays.
5. Baggage Assistance: Our driver will assist you with your luggage upon pickup.
6. Punctuality: Drivers will wait no longer than 45 minutes after the scheduled pickup time. Your promptness is appreciated.
7. Verification: For your safety, verify the driver's identity and confirm your name before proceeding to the vehicle.
When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
Cancellation is not possible. If you cancel it anyway or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity and the money you paid will not be refunded.
