Rise and shine! Around 4.30 AM you will be picked up from your hotel with private taxi in Khao Lak. Once arrived at the trail to the viewpoint you will switch to a 4WD car that takes you up the difficult and steep road to Khao Kai Nui.
Khao Kai Nui is known for its mesmerizing mist forming over the area. Cherish an unforgettable sunrise while feeling like you are above the clouds, surrounded by the purest skies. Enjoy a small local Thai snack while watching this magical scenery. You can stay up to 2.5 hours at the viewpoint of Khao Kai Nui.
To conclude the tour, the 4WD car will bring you down where your private taxi will bring you back to your hotel in Khao Lak.

The local Thai snack is very small. If you are a hungry person in the morning, feel free to take some food by yourself to eat.
This is not a guided tour, simply we offer you the opportunity to see a beautiful sunrise at Khao Kai Nui. You can stay as long as you want at the viewpoint, up to 2.5 hours maximum.
At the viewpoint there might be other people as well.
The hotel transfers are done with a private taxi. The 4WD car to the viewpoint might be shared and takes about 20-30 minutes one-way.
Even though the mist and clouds can be seen almost every day of the year, we unfortunately cannot guarantee it.
Most of the days it is a beautiful sunrise from the viewpoint, but this is depending on the weather.
On days of extreme rainfall, the path to the viewpoint is inaccessible. You will be offered in this case to move to another day or get a full refund.
When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
