Set off from Alanya and explore the countryside on this sightseeing day trip. Head to the picturesque Sapadere Canyon and take a swim, visit Sapadere Village, and have lunch at a local restaurant.
Start with pickup from your accomodation and head to Sapadere. First, visit the Sapadere Canyon. Formed thousands of years ago by glacial movements, the canyon is has around 20 different water falls and numerous caves and is home to a variety of wildlife, flora, and fauna.
Take a walk along the boardwalk and immerse yourself in the surroundings as you admire the scenery of the canyon. You'll also be able to take a swim and bathe in the refreshing waters. Afterward, head to a local family-run restaurant where you can enjoy freshly-prepared dishes for lunch.
Make your way to Sapadere Village, famous for its silk production. For over 500 years the village has been involved in silk production. You’ll be able to learn more about the process and also purchase some finely-crafted silk garments.
Before heading back, make a stop at the Dwarves Caves. Here you can marvel at the impressive stalactites and stalagmites and take some photos to share with your friends back home. Afterward, return to your accomodation.
