Spend 2 days on an excursion from Istanbul to the historic sites of Gallipoli and Troy. Visit the WWI memorial sites of the Battle of Gallipoli. In Troy, learn about the mythological history of the city as well as exploring the archaeological ruins.
On the first day of this 2-day tour of Troy and Gallipoli you’ll depart Istanbul early in the morning and enjoy the drive to Gallipoli. Once you’ve arrived, you’ll visit:

• The Beach Cemetery
• ANZAC Cove
• Ariburnu Cemetery
• The ANZAC Commemoration Site
• Lone Pine Australian Memorial
• Johnston's Jolly (Turkish and allied trenches and tunnels)
• 57th Regiment Turkish Memorial

• Chunuk Bair New Zealand Memorial
At the end of the tour you’ll continue on to Canakkale and check in at your 4-star hotel. Dinner at the hotel and overnight at Canakkale.
On the second day you’ll visit the famous archaeological and mythological site of Troy, home to the Trojan Horse and Helen of Troy.
You will see and hear about:
• The Trojan Horse
• Helen of Troy
• The Trojan Wars
• The battle between Achilles and Paris
• Sacrificial altars
• The 3,700-year-old city walls
• Houses of Troy I (3000-2500 B.C.)

After the tour you’ll return to Canakkale for lunch, with the afternoon at leisure. Visiting the Archaeological and Naval museums is recommended.
Depart for Istanbul at around 17:30, and then transfer to your Istanbul hotel around 23:30-24:00.
