Visit the Hagia Sophia, one of the world’s greatest architectural masterpieces. (Museum entry ticket not included; guests who wish to enter can purchase tickets on site, while others enjoy free time.)

After a short break, head to Topkapi Palace, the opulent residence of the Ottoman sultans, filled with centuries of history and treasures. (Closed on Tuesdays.)

End your tour at the Grand Bazaar, a labyrinth of over 4,000 shops filled with carpets, spices, jewelry, and local crafts. (Closed on Sundays.)
