At 12:00 pm, we will start our walking tour in Trabzon Meydan Park, accompanied by our tour guide. During a short briefing in front of the Atatürk Statue, we will provide general information about Trabzon’s historical development, its identity as a port city, and city life.
As our walking tour continues, we will visit Kostaki Mansion (Trabzon Museum), one of the city's most important historical buildings, where we will learn about Ottoman-era architecture and city life. Next, we will proceed to the Trabzon City Museum to explore the history of Trabzon’s trade, culture, and social life.
During the gastronomy segment of our tour, we will take a break around Kalkanoğlu Pilaf and learn about Trabzon cuisine. Next, we will visit traditional Trabzon bread bakeries and learn about the region's stone oven culture.
Afterward, we will visit the Kadınlar Pazarı (Women's Market) to experience local products and the city's tradespeople culture. Our walking tour continues towards the Zağnos Valley, where we learn about Trabzon’s historic city walls and its old settlement structure.
