From Kampala: 3-Day Murchison Falls Safari & Chimpanzee Trek

Day 1: Rhino Tracking and Top of the Falls

Depart Kampala or Entebbe and drive north toward Murchison Falls. Arrive at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for a 2-hour guided foot safari to track white rhinos. Have lunch at the sanctuary's restaurant.

Proceed to Murchison Falls National Park and hike to the dramatic Top of the Falls. Check into your safari lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Morning Game Drive and Nile Boat Cruise

Head out for a sunrise game drive across the northern savannah tracks to spot lions, leopards, giraffes, and elephants. Return to the lodge for a quick rest and lunch.

Take a 3-hour boat cruise on the Victoria Nile to the bottom of the falls, viewing hippos, crocodiles, and birds. Return to your lodge for dinner.

Day 3: Chimpanzee Trekking in Budongo Forest and Return

Check out and drive to the Budongo Forest briefing point. Embark on a guided forest walk to track habituated wild chimpanzees. Enjoy lunch at the Budongo Eco-Lodge.

Depart the park and drive back, arriving in Kampala or Entebbe by late evening.
