Kigali/Entebbe: 3-Day Bwindi Gorilla Trekking Tour

Embark on a 3-day adventure to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Go gorilla trekking, visit the Batwa Cultural Group, and hike through the forest. Stay in a comfortable lodge and enjoy round-trip transportation from Kigali or Entebbe.

Start with a pickup from Kigali Airport or Entebbe International Airport. Drive through the hilly terrain of Kanungu to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. Arrive at Bakiga Lodge in Ruhijja and spend the first night.

The following morning, carry a packed breakfast into the thick forest for gorilla trekking. Upon arrival at the UWA center, be welcomed with a performance from the Batwa Cultural Group. Then, receive a safety and activity briefing on the gorilla trekking activity.

Select your trekking equipment and be allocated a gorilla family to trek. After gorilla trekking, receive a gorilla trekking certificate as an accreditation that you trekked an endangered species. In the mid-afternoon, go on a community hike on foot to see the cultural setup and geographical impressions of the area.

Spend a second and last night at Bakiga Lodge Ruhijja. After breakfast in the morning, transfer to the drop-off location agreed with the client.
