Welcome to Uganda, This 4-day gorilla safari itinerary is designed to give you an unforgettable experience with the majestic mountain gorillas in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Hotel
Upon your arrival at either Kampala or Entebbe airport, you will be greeted by our representative.
They will transfer you to your hotel in Entebbe for a relaxing evening.

Day 2: Transfer to Bwindi
After breakfast, you will embark on a scenic drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
The journey will take you through beautiful landscapes and rural villages.
Upon arrival, check-in at your lodge and spend the rest of the day at leisure, preparing for the gorilla trekking experience the next day.

Day 3: Gorilla Trekking and Transfer to Bird nest hotel Lake Bunyonyi
Early in the morning, you will head to the park headquarters for a briefing about gorilla trekking.
After the briefing, you will embark on an unforgettable gorilla trekking adventure in the dense forest of Bwindi.
Once you find the gorilla family, you will spend a magical hour observing and photographing them.
After the trek, you will transfer to bird nest Hotel Lake Bunyonyi for relaxation.
Enjoy the beautiful surroundings of Lake Bunyonyi and unwind after an exciting day.

Day 4: Return to Kampala or Entebbe Airport for Departure
After breakfast, you will check out from the hotel and begin your journey back to either Kampala or Entebbe.
Along the way, you will have the opportunity to stop at scenic viewpoints like uganda equator and take in the breathtaking views.
Upon arrival in Kampala or Entebbe, our representative will drop you off at the airport for your departure flight.

Gorilla Permits: gorilla trekking requires a gorilla permit, which is subject to availability. It is recommended to book your permits well in advance at least 3 months before to secure your spot.
Fitness Level: gorilla trekking involves hiking through rugged terrain and dense forests. It is important to have a reasonable level of fitness and be prepared for moderate physical exertion.
Packing essentials: it is essential to pack appropriate clothing and gear for the trek, including sturdy hiking boots, long-sleeved shirts, long pants, rain jacket, hat, sunscreen, insect repellent, and a backpack for carrying water and snacks.
Travel insurance: it is highly recommended to have travel insurance that covers medical expenses, trip cancellation, and emergency evacuation in case of unforeseen circumstances.
COVID-19 Guidelines: due to the ongoing covid-19 pandemic, it's important to stay updated on the travel restrictions and guidelines set by the Ugandan government & relevant authorities

When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
Cancellation is not possible. If you cancel it anyway or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity and the money you paid will not be refunded.
