Day 1: Arrival & Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park
Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our professional driver-guide. After a briefing about your safari, embark on a scenic drive to Lake Mburo National Park in western Uganda.
Enjoy a stop at the Uganda Equator for photography and a brief experiment demonstration. Continue through rolling hills and Ankole long-horned cattle landscapes to the park, famously known as the “Whispers of the Wild” for its serene environment and rich biodiversity.
Arrive in the afternoon and check in at Igongo Country Hotel, located near the park. Relax and prepare for the next day’s adventure.
Meal Plan: Lunch & Dinner

Day 2: Horseback Safari & Afternoon Boat Cruise
After an early breakfast, transfer to the park headquarters for a unique horseback safari experience. Riding alongside zebras, impalas, and elands without the noise of a vehicle offers a close and thrilling wildlife encounter. Lake Mburo is one of the few parks in Uganda where horseback safaris are permitted.
Return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation. In the afternoon, enjoy a guided boat cruise on Lake Mburo. Spot hippos, crocodiles, buffaloes along the shores, and a variety of bird species including fish eagles and kingfishers.
Evening relaxation at the lodge as you enjoy the peaceful African sunset.
Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Day 3: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After breakfast, depart for Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home to nearly half of the world’s remaining mountain gorillas. The journey takes you through the beautiful Kigezi Highlands, often referred to as the “Switzerland of Africa,” with breathtaking terraced hills and winding roads.
Arrive in the afternoon and check in at Bluff Gorilla Lodge, offering stunning forest views. Spend the evening relaxing as you prepare for the next day’s once-in-a-lifetime gorilla trekking adventure.
Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Day 4: Gorilla Trekking Experience
After an early breakfast, transfer to the park headquarters for a briefing by Uganda Wildlife Authority rangers. You will then begin your gorilla trekking adventure in the dense rainforest.
The trek may take 2–6 hours depending on the gorillas’ location. Once found, you will spend one magical hour observing them as they feed, play, and interact in their natural habitat. This is truly one of Africa’s most powerful wildlife experiences.
For children (who are not eligible for trekking), optional guided community visits can be arranged to experience local culture and traditions.
Return to the lodge for relaxation and reflection.
Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Day 5: Transfer to Entebbe for Departure
Enjoy an early breakfast before starting your journey back to Entebbe. The drive offers scenic countryside views and another optional equator stop for souvenir shopping.
Arrive at Entebbe International Airport in time for your international departure flight.
