Entebbe: 4-Day Kibale Forest and Queen Elizabeth Safari Tour

Embark on a 4-day safari from Entebbe to Kibale Forest and Queen Elizabeth National Park. Track chimpanzees, spot wildlife, and cruise the Kazinga Channel.
Begin your adventure with a drive from Entebbe to Kibale National Park, home to the highest concentration and variety of primates in East Africa. Spend the night at your lodge, preparing for a day of chimpanzee trekking.

On day two, head to the park headquarters for a briefing before embarking on a trek near Kanyanchu. Spend up to 6 hours tracking chimpanzees and other primates like L’Hoest monkeys, baboons, and colobus monkeys. Keep an eye out for forest elephants and giant forest hogs.

After lunch, take a guided nature walk to the Bigodi Swamp Sanctuary, a haven for birders. Spot the Great Blue Turaco and Papyrus Gonolek among 137 bird species. Then, transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park for dinner and an overnight stay.

On day three, enjoy an early morning game drive to see warthogs, buffaloes, leopards, and primates like colobus monkeys. Return to the lodge for lunch before embarking on a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, where you’ll see a variety of bird species, flora, and fauna.

On the final day, have breakfast and check out of the lodge. Drive back to Kampala, stopping for lunch in Mbarara town, before returning to Entebbe.
