Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe

Arrive at Entebbe International Airport and meet your driver-guide for a transfer to your hotel. Depending on your arrival time, enjoy an optional visit to Entebbe Botanical Gardens on the shores of Lake Victoria.

Day 2: Entebbe – Kibale Forest National Park

Travel west through scenic countryside and tea plantations to Kibale Forest National Park, famous for its exceptional primate diversity. In the afternoon, enjoy an optional guided walk in Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary, offering opportunities for birdwatching and interaction with the local community.

Day 3: Chimpanzee Trekking – Queen Elizabeth National Park

Day 4: Game Drive & Kazinga Channel Boat Safari

Enjoy an early morning game drive through the Kasenyi Plains, with opportunities to see elephants, buffaloes, lions and antelopes. In the afternoon, cruise the famous Kazinga Channel, where you can see large numbers of hippos, crocodiles and waterbirds along the shoreline.

Day 5: Queen Elizabeth – Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After breakfast, travel south towards Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Enjoy changing scenery as you move from savannah landscapes into the highlands and ancient rainforest of southwestern Uganda.

Day 6: Gorilla Trekking – Lake Bunyonyi

After breakfast, enter Bwindi Forest for one of Uganda's most unforgettable experiences: mountain gorilla trekking. Trek through the forest with experienced trackers in search of a habituated gorilla family and spend the permitted viewing time observing these incredible animals in their natural habitat.

After the trek, transfer to beautiful Lake Bunyonyi for relaxation and scenic views.

Day 7: Lake Bunyonyi – Lake Mburo National Park

Day 8: Lake Mburo – Entebbe

After breakfast, begin your journey back to Entebbe. Depending on your flight schedule, enjoy an optional stop at the Equator for photographs and a memorable final experience before airport drop-off. A Kampala city visit can also be arranged where time permits.
