Embark on a climbing adventure to Luwazi or Kkungu, located just outside Kampala. Choose between two unique climbing spots, each offering a different experience.
Head to Luwazi, located about an hour's drive east of Kampala. Discover a crag full of sport climbing bolted routes, as well as trad climbing route. Due to the hot sunny days, it is advisable to go either early morning or late evening, but early morning is most recommended.
Alternatively, head to Kkungu, located about 40 minutes north of Kampala along Bombo Road. This spot offers fully sport routes, but most of it is not bolted due to the nature of the wall with loose rocks and the difficulty of the routes.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
The Luwazi crag is located about an hour's drive on the eastern side of Kampala city.
It is advisable to chose to go either early morning or late evening due to very hot sunny days and no shades for the sun. Otherwise, bring some good sunscreen.
Meanwhile Kkungu is located about 45 mins drive from Kampala to the northern side along Bombo road.
Most routes at Kkungu are not bolted due to the nature of the wall with some parts loose rocks and the difficulty of the routes. To access the top ropes, you'll need to squeeze through a small chimney to access the only bolted route with about 4 hangers and lead climb to the top of the wall. Therefore it's advisable that in order to go climbing in KKungu, you'll need to have some lead climbing experience.

To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
