Embark on a 5-day safari from Entebbe. Track gorillas in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, see chimpanzees in Kibaale National Park, and explore the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary.
Begin your adventure with a pickup from Entebbe International Airport. Head straight to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, stopping at the equator for photos and a memorable experience. Continue to Mbarara for lunch, enjoying the scenic views of western Uganda along the way. Arrive at your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
After breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing on the dos and don’ts of tracking chimpanzees. Begin your trek into the forest, searching for these playful primates.
After the trek return to the lodge for lunch, then proceed to the Bigodi Wetland for an afternoon excursion. Explore the wetland, home to a diverse array of biodiversity, including several primates and a paradise for bird watchers. Look out for the great blue turaco, one of the major bird species in the area.
After an early breakfast, drive back to Kampala, stopping in Masaka for lunch. Continue to Kampala or Entebbe, concluding your 5-day adventure.
