Description

Wales & Snowdonia's Medieval Castles are everything what myths & legendary stories stir up in our imagination. Inflame those thoughts on this magical medieval tour, visiting 4 iconic castles in Wales
Enjoy a drive around Great Orme Road, the one way scenic road. The longest of its kind in the UK with spectacular cliffs, wildlife and views out to the Irish Sea and Anglesey
Mavel at the ancient castle town of Conwy, you will have the opportunity to view the castle’s domineering and towering walls and catch that picture perfect photo from the Conwy estuary bridge! (Admission to the village is free. A payable free required for castle entry only)
Step back in time when you visit this Medieval Norman Castle. It was originally a medieval fortified manor house, founded by Ednyfed Fychan in 1438. This building is spectacular both inside and out with wonderful gardens to explore. (entrance fee required)
On route we drive over the world famous Menai Suspension Bridge. Designed to carry road traffic between the island of Anglesey and the mainland of Wales. The bridge was the biggest in the world of its time and was completed in 1826 and is a Grade I listed structure
Captivating seaside town of Beaumaris, with its mix of medieval, Georgian, Victorian and Edwardian architecture. Enjoy a walk through the town, stroll along the seafront, taking in the pier and the views over the Menai Strait and Snowdonia then continuing through the charming streets with their picturesque cottages, many painted in soft pastel colors. You can also visit and walk the grounds of the beautiful and unique castle. (Admission to the village is free. A payable free required for castle entry)
As we came to the island over one iconic bridge, leave the Island over another. The Britannia Bridge. Built to aid the Uk's connection for trading with Ireland.
Brute fortress medieval castle town of Caernarfon. Take a walk round this world heritage site. After all these years Caernarfon’s immense strength remains undimmed. History comes alive at Caernarfon in so many ways – along the lofty wall walks, beneath the twin-towered gatehouse, walk the town’s narrow and colorful streets and stylishly redeveloped waterfront of the Menai. (Admission to the town is free, fee payable for castle entrance)
