Description

Join a guided group hike to the summit of Ben Nevis, the highest mountain in the UK. Follow the Pony Track and enjoy stunning views of the surrounding mountains and glens.
Embark on a guided hike up the Pony Track, the most popular route to the summit of Ben Nevis. Begin your journey from the Ben Nevis Visitor Centre in Glen Nevis and follow a winding path that takes approximately four hours to reach the top.

As you ascend, take in the stunning views of the surrounding landscapes. The path is loose and rocky, so be prepared for a challenging but rewarding climb. If the weather is good, from the summit you can enjoy breathtaking panoramic views before beginning your descent.

This hike is achievable for most people, but you will need good levels of fitness and stamina. Be prepared for a full day out in the mountains. From mid-May until mid-September, join a group walk every Wednesday and Sunday.

Please be aware that for group walks at the start of May, winter equipment may be required. You will be informed about this as early as possible, and if necessary, equipment can be hired from Ellis Brigham in Fort William.
