Gibraltar is a British crown colony since 1713, after the treaty of Utrecht it was considered to be one of the two pillars of Hercules, called mons calpe. poised strategically at the jaws of Europe and Africa, with its Palladian architecture and camera-hogging barbary macaques.
You'll start at pillars of Hercules: you will enjoy great views overlooking the bay and straits of Gibraltar to North Africa where the Atlantic Ocean meets the Mediterranean sea; in ancient times known as "non plus ultra" - the end of the world.
Visit St. Michael’s cave: once inhabited by the Neanderthals, and used as an emergency hospital during wwii, you'll also see the great siege tunnel.
Tour the streets of Gibraltar and hear a mix of Spanish and English and stop for lunch.

Optionally you can visit Vejer and castellar de la frontera where both villages seem to float into the air. Alternatively, we can visit Cadiz, the oldest city still standing in Europe or Jerez.

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
