Learn about life at the University today. Topics will include: the Oxford tuition system; student life in an Oxford college; the differences between the colleges and their specialities; how do you apply to Oxford and how easy is it to get a place at the University?
We strongly recommend that you include a visit to an Oxford College as part of your tour. See below.
The tour starts in Broad Street, and normally ends in Radcliffe Square, or nearby. Sometimes we vary the route due to events in Oxford.
Plus! Your guide will also help you to plan your visit to Oxford. Prices include our pre-tour planning service by WhatsApp – to help you get the best from your visit to Oxford!
Important note on colleges:
Entrance to Colleges / other attractions can be arranged. Please note that there is an additional charge for entry to some colleges.
Colleges we can normally visit include New College, Magdalen, Trinity, Jesus, Balliol, St John's, All Souls and Corpus Christi and others. Colleges we can sometimes visit include Exeter, Merton and Christ Church. Please let us know if there is a college which you would particularly like to visit. We will do our best to arrange it! Cost £3 - £10 per person depending on your choice of college, except Christ Church which is £25 per person. Entry fee normally includes a visit to the college quad, gardens, chapel and dining hall.
Please note that the Oxford Colleges are working academic institutions, not tourist sites. Sometimes parts of colleges may be closed e.g. the dining hall may be in use for exams or being prepared for a special event. The chapel may be closed due to a rehearsal or other event. Sometimes colleges may close at short notice for reasons of their own.
If the college of your choice is unavailable, we will do our best to visit an alternative.

What people say:
"We had the absolute pleasure of touring Oxford with Tim, and it was truly one of the highlights of our trip. Tim was not only incredibly knowledgeable about the history, architecture, and famous alumni of Oxford, but he delivered everything with such charm, wit, and enthusiasm. His passion for the city is infectious, and he brought the streets and colleges to life with fascinating stories and insights. We came away with a much deeper appreciation of Oxford’s rich history and culture, and we were entertained every step of the way. Tim was a delightful guide—warm, engaging, and full of interesting facts that you’d never find in a guidebook. We would highly recommend this tour. Thank you, Tim, for a truly memorable day "
