Explore Scotland’s legendary locations on a day tour from Edinburgh. Visit Rosslyn Chapel, the Wallace Monument and Dunfermline Abbey.
Step into the heart of Scotland’s story on a captivating tour through some of the nation’s most legendary locations. From sacred chapels and royal burial grounds to towering monuments of rebellion, this journey brings Scotland’s past vividly to life.

Begin with a visit to the mysterious Rosslyn Chapel, famed for its intricate stone carvings and links to The Da Vinci Code.

Continue north to the Wallace Monument, standing proudly above Stirling and commemorating Scotland’s national hero, William Wallace. Climb to the top of the Monument and enjoy the sweeping views across the surrounding countryside. Due to the historic nature of the Wallace Monument, access involves climbing many steps. Guests with limited mobility may prefer to enjoy the grounds and visitor centre instead.

Along the way, pass the imposing Stirling Castle, once a stronghold of kings and queens, and glimpse the striking modern sculptures of The Kelpies, rising from the landscape as symbols of Scotland’s industrial heritage.

Nearby, pause at Bannockburn to see the statue of Robert the Bruce, where one of the most decisive battles in Scottish history shaped the nation’s future.
Travel on to Dunfermline Abbey, the ancient capital of Scotland and final resting place of Robert the Bruce, where centuries of royal history echo through its stone walls

As the day draws to a close, enjoy a scenic journey back across the Forth Bridges, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Scotland’s most iconic engineering achievements.
