Create your own custom trucker hat at the Mess Hall Truck Shop, a camp cafeteria-themed interactive hat buffet where you get to choose from a vast and playful selection of iron-on patches, pins, and buttons to decorate your hat or tote bag and create a one-of-a-kind souvenir.

Whether you’re planning a bachelorette weekend, searching for things to do with the family, or just looking for entertaining activities in Charleston, Mess Hall combines a youthful nostalgia and vibrant creativity with its campy vibe to create an overall unique shopping experience.

YOU ONLY NEED ONE TICKET PER GROUP! This booking is for groups of 6-15 people and gives your group full private access to the store with no interruptions for one hour. One of our expert hat baristas will personally guide you through the hat-making process and lend design assistance as needed. You can take full control of the aux, letting you set the perfect vibe for your event. Once your hats are complete, toast the occasion with a celebratory glass of champagne for each guest. You’ll have access to a table for treats or cake (please bring your own napkins, plates, and utensils).

The booking fee does NOT include the price of the hats, patches, or pins!

  • NOTE: The cost of your hats are not included in the booking fee, all hats will be paid for separately in store.
NOT INCLUDED
  • Hats, patches, pins, and buttons are NOT included in the private party booking fee. You can expect to spend on average about $64 on a hat, that hat having about 4-5 items on it. Our hats can range in price from a conservative $38 to upwards of $100+, we consider the design process a choose your own adventure.

When should I book?

To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.


Cancellations

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
