Escape into Big Bear’s wilder side on a Jeep ride and gourmet-style pop-up picnic experience designed for nature lovers and photo seekers. Meet your host-guide (an award-winning food blogger and Big Bear Valley expert) and head out on a scenic drive along forest roads toward a secluded bluff-style picnic spot.
On the way, enjoy narration about the history and character of the Big Bear Valley, with the flexibility to stop for photos whenever you’d like. Once you arrive, your picnic is already styled and set with everything needed for a comfortable outdoor lunch—think cushions, plates, glasses, napkins, and silverware—plus seasonal snack-style items and beverages.
After the setup and a short introduction to the area, you’ll be left with privacy to relax, eat, and soak up the views in one of Big Bear’s most scenic “hidden gem” locations, often with a lake view. Menus vary seasonally and are shared after booking, and vegan and gluten-free options are available on request. Your host can also take scenic photos of your group before you settle in.
At the end of your picnic, return by vehicle to the original meeting point, feeling refreshed from a simple, nature-forward Big Bear escape.

When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
