If the road conditions are poor, the tour will be cancelled for the guests safety and a full refund will be provided
Driving in Alaska's Interior can be dangerous, so be prepared for dark icy roads and watch out for wildlife
Guests are encouraged to dress warm and prepare for potential wet and muddy conditions. Fall rain gear is not provided
All areas that customers touch are frequently cleaned
The number of visitors is limited to reduce crowds
Masks are optional but are strongly recommended while indoors
You are required to bring and wear a mask
Please arrive at the exact time of your tour. Tours are booked by reservation only and guides require time to prepare for the tour to ensure a well rounded experience.
Please follow directions closely:
Take Chena Hot Springs road east
Follow the green mile markers to mile post 21
Take a right onto Grange Hall road
Do not take Kauffman Lane (this is a trail, though google has it falsely denoted as a thruway)
Take a left onto Snow Leopard
Follow the green “Mushing Co-op” signs
When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 48 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 48 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
