Chart your own kayaking adventure and explore surreal and hidden reefs in Kaneohe Bay, one of Oahu's most beautiful areas. Enjoy a unique chance to see plenty of coral and maybe even some turtles.
Embark on a kayaking adventure on Kaneohe Bay and explore one of Oahu's most beautiful areas with this kayak rental. See a variety of local wildlife, and explore the coral reefs in the bay with provided snorkel gear. Admire the beautiful scenery while traveling through the bay, and enjoy the freedom of an adventure at your own pace with no guide.
Set aside at least three hours to get the full Kaneohe experience, but take as much time as you'd like in the bay with the freedom of a self-guided adventure through the bay. Meet the rental staff near Waihole Nursery where all of your required gear will be waiting along with the rental staff.
Launch the kayak into the bay after receiving all of your provided gear. Paddle all the way out of the bay to get past the shallow area and reach the closest coral reef after about 15-20 minutes of paddling. Enjoy the best snorkeling on the reef along the outer edges of the underwater coral islands.
Choose between paddling around the reef, swimming, or snorkeling, and use the provided kayak leash to keep the kayak nearby. Take the chance to paddle to other nearby reefs as there are several in the area. See the location where they filmed the “Hukilau Cafe” and Waikāne Pier scenes in 50 First Dates off to the left about 15 minutes kayaking north of the launch location.
Spot different species of wildlife while exploring the reefs, and potentially Hawaiian Green Sea Turtles as there is a large population living around the reef. Finish the adventure when you wish, and return to the launch site to return your rental gear.

Do not land the kayak anywhere but the launch location as many areas around the bay are private property
You’ll meet us over at the Waihole Nursery and Garden Center parking lot and we’ll have your kayaks and gear all set and ready to go.
When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
