Weather changes can occur quickly and the access road to the summit can close without warning, therefore access to the summit or favorable conditions cannot be guaranteed
The temperature can dip below freezing when at a high elevation on the mountain
Guests should be able to walk on uneven or rocky terrain. Sometimes cool, wet, or muddy conditions are encountered
All areas that customers touch are frequently cleaned
You are required to bring and wear a mask
You will receive a mandatory temperature check
Be picked up from Grand Naniloa Hotel Hilo - a DoubleTree by Hilton, 93 Banyan Dr, Hilo, HI 96720. The pickup time is 3:00 PM from October to February, 3:30 PM in March, August, September, and 4 PM from April to July.
When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 48 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 48 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
