Description

Saddle up for a guided horseback riding experience in the Bridger-Teton National Forest from Jackson. Come across mountain scenery and travel through Willow Creek, stopping for lunch in the valley.
Explore the highlights of Bridger-Teton National Park on a horseback tour from Jackson, with lunch included. Soak up picture-perfect vistas of Willow Creek and the Teton Range. Get a close look at animals like moose, elk, and eagles, and learn about Wyoming’s wildlife and history from your guide.
Meet your guide at the starting point, just a short drive from Jackson. Learn some basic horseback riding techniques and head out on your morning adventure. Depending on trail conditions and water flow, take one of these two equally beautiful routes:

Creek Crossing Ride: Start out with a ride past Anne’s Pond and continue over Anne’s Ridge. Be rewarded at the top with a 360-degree vista of the valley and the Teton mountain range. After taking in the views, go down to Willow Creek, riding alongside the water, reaching your lunch spot.

Historic Rim Rock Ranch: Travel back in time down the Bryan Flats logging road, where oxen and carts hauled the lumber that would be used to help build Jackson Hole. On most days, you can see the Teton Range as you approach your lunch spot in the valley where the historic Rim Rock Ranch once stood.

Complete a loop on your ride to experience new scenery and views throughout the ride. Witness scenic mountain trails on horseback, winding through Douglas firs, lodge pole pine trees, blue sagebrush, and wildflowers.
Ride along – and sometimes through – the water flowing down Willow Creek toward Snake River. Keep an eye out for the rocky mountain elk, mule deer, Ahiras moose, red-tailed hawks, and even American bald eagles.
